Description
LACUNZA Bristol Cast Iron Stove
The LACUNZA Bristol cast iron stove combines strong heating performance with a distinctive, practical design. With a 9kW heat output, it can heat spaces up to approximately 200m³. Therefore, it suits larger living areas where reliable warmth matters.
Its robust cast iron construction gives the Bristol a substantial feel and excellent heat-retaining qualities. At the same time, the large glass door creates an impressive view of the flames. As a result, the stove provides both effective heating and an attractive focal point for your room.
The Bristol reaches 78% efficiency, helping you make better use of your firewood. Furthermore, its Energy Class A rating supports efficient everyday operation. The stove also meets the requirements of the Ecodesign 2022 directive. Consequently, it combines traditional wood-burning appeal with modern combustion technology.
The stove measures 700mm wide, 400mm deep and 850mm high. Despite its strong heating capacity, its relatively shallow depth makes it practical for a range of interiors. Moreover, you can connect the flue from either the rear or the top. This gives you greater flexibility when planning your installation.
LACUNZA Bristol Cast Iron Stove – Efficient Combustion and Flexible Installation
The LACUNZA Bristol uses several air controls to improve combustion. Firstly, the primary air supply helps you light the stove quickly and easily. Then, the combustion air system supports a more controlled fire once the stove reaches operating temperature.
In addition, air enters the firebox through the upper part of the door. This creates an air wash across the glass. Therefore, the viewing window can stay cleaner for longer during normal operation.
The Bristol also features a secondary combustion air system. This supplies additional air directly to the flames from behind the stove. As a result, smaller particles released from burning wood can burn within the firebox. This helps support a more complete combustion process while reducing unnecessary emissions.
The stove features a vermiculite-lined firebox, which helps protect the combustion chamber during use. It also includes a cast iron grate and a steel ashtray. Therefore, everyday operation and ash removal remain straightforward.
For added installation flexibility, the Bristol accepts a 150mm diameter flue from either the top or rear. It is also compatible with the PISLA HTT Kamiina pipe set. Furthermore, the stove carries CE approval, giving you another important specification to consider when planning your installation.
The Bristol also requires a suitable non-combustible base. Alternatively, you can protect the existing base with an appropriate steel or glass hearth plate. Therefore, professional installation remains essential for safe and reliable operation.
With its 117kg cast iron construction, generous firebox and 9kW output, the Bristol makes a strong addition to a spacious living area. Meanwhile, its large viewing window brings the warmth and atmosphere of a real wood fire into your home.
