The Roof Flashing 150-280mm Lead Base provides a durable and watertight solution for sealing flue and vent pipe penetrations through tiled or slated roofs. It offers a modern alternative to traditional lead slate flashings, combining flexibility, safety, and longevity in one professional-grade product.

Each flashing features a robust lead base with a high-quality EPDM or silicone cone that conforms easily to different roof profiles. This design ensures a tight seal and a professional finish, even on uneven surfaces. Moreover, it eliminates the need for separate storm collars, simplifying installation and reducing potential leak points.

Available as part of the Seldek® and Rapid Flash™ ranges, this flashing delivers a secure, snappy watertight seal that keeps every roof penetration 100% leak-free. The flexible base dresses easily over tiles or slates, making it ideal for both new builds and retrofit installations.

Furthermore, the flashing is compatible with twin wall and single wall flue systems, soil pipes, and boiler vents. It can be painted to match roof finishes using acrylic paint for a discreet, seamless look.

Features, Performance, and Protection

Crafted for long-term reliability, the Roof Flashing 150–280mm Lead Base withstands extreme temperatures and weather conditions. The grey silicone cone resists continuous heat up to 200°C and intermittent peaks of 250°C, ensuring it performs reliably on stove and boiler flues.

Unlike traditional lead flashings, Seldek® Aluminium models do not corrode or stain roofs and gutters. Meanwhile, Nu-Lead® options combine an EPDM cone with an acrylic-coated lead base. This coating prevents lead leaching into gutters and water systems while maintaining lead’s natural flexibility.

In addition, Rapid Flash™ versions are lead-free, lightweight, and eco-friendly. Their flexible adhesive polymer base contains no toxic metals and incorporates a reinforced mesh for added strength. Consequently, they offer a safe, sustainable alternative to standard lead flashings without compromising durability.
