SILCAWOOL is a high-temperature fibre with increased biosolubility and is, therefore, an alternative to Established aluminium silicate wool (ceramic fibre). It is a spun fibre based on calcium Magnesium silicate with high thermal stability, high tensile strength, and good elasticity. Due to its high biosolubility, it is not classified as a dangerous material and is chemically less resistant than aluminium silicate wool.
